is available at the denominational Web site at www.disciples.org.

day. The complete text is available at
no cost at www.johncunyus.com/disciplesofchrist.html.
The book is presented in brief chapters, heavily
footnoted, with review questions for class and small-group discussion.
The book's appendices include three significant documents in the
history of the movement: "The Last Will and Testament of the
Springfield Presbytery," by Barton Stone; the Thirteen Proposition
from "The Declaration and Address" of Thomas Campbell;
and articles I through IV of the Design of the Christian Church

Seminary (selection of)
I am interested in becoming an ordanied minister in the Disciples of Christ. Can I attend a seminary other than those affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) if those closest to me are not close enough given my family life and work life?
The short answer to your question is yes, you may attend seminaries other than strictly Disciples affiliated seminaries. Your first step would be to talk with your pastor. Your second step should be to talk with your regional minister. To find out who your regional minister is, either ask your pastor or review the list posted on the www.disciples.org/region/index.htm Web site.
